Isanti Rodeo Days

Paul Toske as "Humpty Dumpty".The PRC’s float for the Isanti Rodeo Days parade had a “Humpty Dumpty” theme. One of our volunteers, Paul Toske, obligingly took the role of Humpty Dumpty, while some young volunteers played the part of the king and the king’s men. Our slogan was “Trying to keep it together? We can help.”

The PRC's "Humpty Dumpty" float.Despite the heat, many people came out to watch the annual parade. We were able to hand out 1,000 flyers with information about the Pregnancy Resource Center! Our float brought smiles to many faces as people recognized the familiar nursery rhyme character. We appreciate that we were able to participate in the parade for no charge since we are a non-profit group.

One of the king's men.A team of volunteers worked hard to design costumes and decorate the float and then walked in the parade with us handing out flyers. Special thanks to Hayford Ford for loaning us one of their trucks to pull the float.

Snowflake Parade
Saturday, November 19, 2011

The PRC's "Little Jack Horner".The PRC's Snowflake parade float was themed after the nursery rhyme "Little Jack Horner" with a sign explaining "Stuck in a corner? We’re a good place to come"! The event is one of Cambridge's annual events.

That evening we experienced our first significant snowfall of the year, which added the perfect ambiance. Chilly, but fitting for a Minnesota winter parade.

The PRC's 2011 float.Thank you to all who worked on this important public relations activity. The PRC couldn't participate without our dedicated staff and great volunteers!
